So, at about 11.5 months, Zach has just recently started feeding himself his bottle. Yes, I am well-aware that most babies do this earlier- much earlier. He’s been curious about his bottle for awhile, poking it, or chewing on the side of it, but now he can consistently get it into his mouth. The catch – he has to be lying down. This is a little dangerous for me because I like to give him his bottle while lying down in bed, and will get woken up with a swift bottle to the head now.

He’s also not so sure that he needs his naps anymore, although I am quite sure that he does, not only for my sake, but also for his. I miss those two longish naps that he used to have. Yesterday he had one nap, and today he had a 30 minute one and is now crying instead of sleeping. And yes, he still wakes up during the night.

Anyone want to babysit? :)
